It pushes you further away,
Not like affection,
It goes ina different direction,
Just leaves you standing there,
Like someone just takes away your air,
without a care,
so do you just disappear & shed a tear?
How do you deal with rejection?

TAKE A HIKE is a faced paced and thought provoking show full of comedy and fresh ideas, exploring the issue of rejection and inviting us to go deeper.

Techno Notice, Eat Static Live, 26 March

26 March - Club

Eat Static were formed in 1989 by Merv Pepler & Joie Hinton, then drummer & synth player for the legendary band Ozric Tentacles. They quickly made a name for themselves on the Megadog “live” techno scene of the early 90s playing alongside the likes of Orbital, Underworld & Aphex Twin. They were the first signings to Megadog off shoot Planet Dog Records, releasing their debut album ‘Abduction’ in 1993. Since then they have played hundreds of gigs worldwide and became one of the most respected and spectacular live dance acts around. They have been voted ‘Best Dance Act’ in the NME, achieved a top twenty album, headlined the first ever dance tent at Glastonbury Festival in 1995 and recorded two Peel Sessions. Whilst essentially a sci-fi influenced, trance / techno outfit, they have also incorporated drum and bass, breakbeat, latin, garage and ambient styles into their sound at various stages.

Eclectricity Good Friday , 2 April

2 April - Club

We kick off the closing weekender on Good Friday 2nd April with the debut of RICARDO VILLALOBOS and CASSY who will be rocking out the Custard Factory Marquee in same vein that Sven and Dubfire did on Easter weekend 2009… and everyone knows how good that party was…not to mention Luciano & Loco Dice at the Q Club in October… which was arguably as good!

RICARDO is one of the true pioneers of the recent resurgence of techno…a headliner for Cocoon in Ibiza and regular at the likes of Timewarp he is a true lynchpin in the scene and his UK appearances are few and far between. This is all down to the fact he is one of the most in demand DJ’s on the circuit!
